SulphCo Engages FD as New Business Communications Advisors
HOUSTON, Feb. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SulphCo, Inc. (the "Company" or "SulphCo") (Amex: SUF), a technology company with a patented ultrasound process designed to desulfurize crude oil, is pleased to announce that Jeffrey R. Freedman has joined SulphCo as Vice President of Corporate Development. In this role, Mr. Freedman will be primarily responsible for initiating, developing, and managing the Company's efforts pertaining to investor relations. Prior to joining SulphCo, Mr. Freedman served on the board of directors of Allis-Chalmers Energy, Inc. ("Allis-Chalmers") from January 2005 until April 2007, when he became Allis-Chalmers' Vice President - Investor Relations. Before his association with Allis-Chalmers, Mr. Freedman had been involved and held various positions with major institutional brokerage firms in equity research relating to the oil service sector over the last 30 years.
In addition, SulphCo is pleased to announce the appointment of FD as its newly retained corporate and financial public relations and investor relations advisor.
FD's representation of SulphCo will be led internationally from London by Ben Brewerton and Sean Galvin of the financial and corporate teams respectively, and in the U.S. by Eric Boyriven and Jessica Greenberger.
FD will work with SulphCo to continue building its current communications program to strengthen its reputation and to raise SulphCo's profile with potential investors both in the U.S. and internationally.
